Joe's motor was the first Ford engine built at K-Star Automotive back in 1986.
390 CI, .030 over, TRW pistons, Sealed Power moly rings, factory Ford rods rebuilt with new bronze bushings and big end re-sized, Clevite main and rod bearings,
rebuilt heads include, resurfaced, valve job, new springs, seals, Crane hyd flat tappet cam, 234/244 @ .050, .481/ 488 valve lift.
Joe's 390 has approximately 25,000 miles on it since the rebuild. It was even driven around the Charlotte Motor Speedway at a speed of 120mph.
