K-Star Automotive specializes in performance engine building for Chevrolet, Ford, Mopar, race cars.

Engine's are built for your application, one at a time. No crate (cookie cutter) engines here.

Every engine is run on my test stand to ensure there are no oil or coolant leaks and to ensure proper break-in of flat tappet camshafts (where applicable). This is a crucial step to insure the long life of your engine not gotten with most engine builders. You can hear your engine run for the first time as well!! This will also give you a base setting for the timing and carb. This will aid in an easy start-up when you install the engine in your car.

Every engine comes with a record of the engine clearances and installed parts. This way there is no question of exactly what is in your engine and what work has been done to it.

Due to the many variables in engine building it is impossible to give quoted pricing.

If you are shopping for a "price only engine" I am NOT the builder for you. I use quality parts and take care and pride assembling each engine.

We also offer a full service Automotive Machine Shop for the guys that like to build their own engines.

Flowbench, Engine Dyno and Chassis Dyno services are also available.
